About Us
Melior Associates Ltd is an independent employment business specialising solely in the Construction and Civil Engineering Industry across the South of England.
The company was formed by Richard Livermore and Tristan Prior, who are close friends and former colleagues. The partnership combines nearly 40 years of industry experience in all aspects, from the supply of technical freelance to the provision of professional permanent solutions and Senior Appointment assignments.
As testament to the company’s growing reputation, Melior have secured “tier 1” supplier status to virtually all of the MCG Contractors working in the region. As well as large major contractors, Melior also work closely with a variety of smaller business’s and sub-contractors which enables us to offer our candidates a comprehensive, diverse range of career opportunities.
Richard Livermore
Director
Richard began his career at Hill McGlynn over 15 years ago focusing in permanent recruitment. He went on to successfully run his own consultancy – Livermore Technical Recruitment. Richard was able to become Tier 1 PSL recruiter for Bouygues, Wates, Kier and Balfour Beatty to name but a few.
In his spare time, aside to being a busy father of two, Richard is an avid follower of F1 and, time permitting, running.
Tristan Prior
Director
Tristan began his career in 1998 providing trade recruitment back in his home town of Bristol. He latterly went on to become a Branch Manager before transferring to Hill McGlynn in Southampton. During his time at Hill McGlynn, Tristan worked in both professional and technical temporary & perm recruitment culminating in selection to the Executive recruitment team working on high value, search assignments Nationally & Internationally.
Outside of work, Tristan enjoys fishing and remains a loyal supporter of Bristol Rugby Club.
